Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to offer your suggestion.
We tried a live chat program on the .COM forum for the last two years and it was rarely used. We even tried to arrange a weekly "chat meet" but so many of our members are from different countries that even that was hard to arrange.
I don't think our visitors have enough free time to just hang out in the chat room. I think they find the forum / Blog set up to be a better format since they can jump in and enter their posts on their own schedule and preserve it for a longer, in-depth conversation rather than the short term chat exchange.
We took it offline at the end of last year when it became fairly obvious that it was not being used.
